Whether it is spending time shopping or visiting galleries you can only be impressed by the architecture. The Railway Station is a must see.

Take a visit to Otago Museum, an opportunity to check-out the natural history section or the Tropical garden butterfly enclosure. Alternatively you may like to visit Otago Settlers Museum, this includes a great transport gallery.

No visit to Dunedin can be complete without a visit to the Cadburys factory, and for some a tour of the Speights factory.

Visit the botanical gardens, or the recently opened Chinese Garden.

Otago Peninsula:

A great day out which might include a visit to the Royal Albatross colony, the Aquarium and Larnach Castle (New Zealand’s only castle).
